A Christian, 17-year-old girl would like to to come to the States for a few weeks in 2009 and stay with a host family. Her name is Baerbel Salzer. She has grown up in a Christian family that Jean Griggs’s friends have known for many years. She is the third child in a family of six. She loves little children and enjoys playing the piano, bike riding, and swimming. She would like to come to the U.S. to improve her English and to learn about the culture, the people, and the church. She would not want to be entertained but would want to do whatever her host family was doing. She is willing to help with whatever is needed. She is available to come any time during her vacation in 2009 which is from July 30-September 19.
