Community Outreach
What does effective outreach look like? How do we reach out to the community in a way that reflects the way the Lord Jesus Christ reached out to us? We don’t have all the answers to these questions, but we know that we desire for our church to look like Jesus in declaring the Good News of the Kingdom of God - Christ’s healing of the entire cosmos - in both word and deed (Luke 4:18-21; 4:43; 7:18-23; 9:1-2; 10:1-9; Acts 1:1; 2:22). With that in mind, we have identified and seek to partner with a few organizations in the Charleston area that we feel allow us the opportunity to reach out to the community. The organizations that we are currently involved in are Without Walls Ministries, Big Brother Big Sister, and Rise Up and Read. Also see our Facebook page: RPC Outreach Facebook Page
